The Horizon 7.0 AT is a conventional folding treadmill for walkers, joggers and runners who want a full 20 by 60 inch deck and physical speed and incline controls. Horizon’s current US page listed the treadmill at $1,099, reduced from a displayed $2,100 reference price, with an add-to-cart option. It also showed free shipping for a limited time. These are point-in-time observations, not a permanent price claim.

The 7.0 AT is more substantial than a compact walking pad. Horizon lists a 0.5–12 mph speed range, 0–15% incline, 325 lb maximum user weight, eight built-in programmes, a tablet holder, USB charging, speakers, a fan and one-step hydraulic folding. The current product page identifies SKU HTM1457-01 and does not publish a conventional horsepower figure.

The controls are the main selling point

The QuickDial controls let you change speed and incline without reaching for small buttons on the console. GearJunkie, Garage Gym Reviews and BarBend all liked the rapid adjustments in their testing or reviews. That matters for intervals and hill sessions, where a slow control system gets annoying quickly.

The trade-off is the console. It is a high-contrast LCD with LED windows, not a large touchscreen. Horizon provides a tablet holder, and the treadmill works with compatible apps and Bluetooth FTMS, but you supply the screen for streamed classes or entertainment.

Horizon says no Wi-Fi or paid subscription is required to operate the treadmill. AtZone is optional and free. Peloton App+, Kinomap, Zwift and other services have their own account or subscription terms, and app integrations do not all offer the same level of speed, incline or workout control.

What independent reviewers found

GearJunkie rated the treadmill 8.7/10 after testing and described it as stable, relatively quiet and capable of handling speed and incline changes. The review praised the deck, cushioning, watch integration and lack of a required subscription. Its complaints included a weak fan, underwhelming speakers and a QuickDial safety concern if the dial is bumped or moved too quickly.

Garage Gym Reviews gave the model 4.3/5 using its stated testing process. It praised the value, 60-inch deck, 325 lb capacity, folding mechanism and app range, while describing the display and built-in workouts as basic. BarBend reported a long-term tester found the deck cushioned and stable, but noted the heavy 277 lb chassis, no decline, limited Bluetooth behaviour and a belt that felt thin to one tester.

Owner reports are mixed. Some describe successful Apple Fitness+ use, quick speed and incline changes and easy folding. Others mention belt alignment, console or Bluetooth failures, shipping mistakes and slow support. These are self-selected anecdotes, not a failure-rate study. Several reviews also refer to different 7.0 AT generations, so check the current SKU before comparing specifications.

Delivery, returns and warranty

Horizon says warehouse processing takes 1–5 days, followed by possible treadmill freight transit of another 10–15 days. The page’s displayed expected shipping week had already passed on the research date, so confirm the actual dispatch estimate at checkout.

The official 30-day guarantee is not a risk-free trial. Returns need authorisation, original packaging and generally like-new condition. Horizon says original and return freight are excluded from ordinary refunds, and a handling fee of up to 20% may apply. The shipping policy also describes possible return freight of $155. The buyer may need to disassemble the treadmill and place it outside for collection.

Horizon lists lifetime frame and motor coverage. The warranty is for the original owner and in-home use, with exclusions for wear, poor maintenance, commercial use, unsuitable locations and misuse. Confirm the current parts and labour terms for SKU HTM1457-01 before ordering.

Verdict

The Horizon 7.0 AT is a strong fit for a buyer who wants a roomy running deck, fast physical controls and app flexibility without a required subscription. It is less attractive if you want a built-in screen, decline, light delivery logistics or a simple free-return policy.

The machine is heavy, and the return terms deserve as much attention as the sale price. Check the current SKU, delivery tier, assembly option and return freight before paying.
