BowFlex T6 review: specs, price and belt-slip concerns

The BowFlex T6 is a full-size folding treadmill for walking, jogging and ordinary home running. BowFlex’s current US product record showed the T6 available to buy at $1,299 on 23 September 2026. The legacy specification URL redirects to the current product page, so the model should not currently be described as discontinued.
BowFlex lists a 20 by 60 inch running path, 0.5–12 mph speed, 0–15% motorised incline, a stated 3.0 HP drive motor, folding storage and a dual LED/LCD console. It supports Apple Watch and Samsung Galaxy Watch connections and works with JRNY, Peloton and Zwift through a phone or tablet. No built-in touchscreen is listed.
Where the T6 fits
The T6 is the entry point in the current BowFlex treadmill range. It has the full 60-inch deck expected by regular runners, but the 20-inch width is narrower than the T9 and T16’s 22-inch decks. It also has less premium console hardware.
The treadmill does not require a subscription to run. Connected services may still need their own accounts or paid plans. App compatibility should not be read as a guarantee of full control or included classes.
Independent evidence
Treadmill Review Guru’s January 2026 review liked the T6’s value, onboard workouts, Bluetooth and app compatibility. The reviewer also praised the lifetime frame and motor warranty. During testing, however, the belt slipped at maximum incline for one team member and the deck bounced noticeably during uphill running. Those are test observations, not proof that every unit behaves the same way.
Owner discussions report positive experiences with fast controls, Apple Watch and Peloton connections, and the price. Other posts describe motor-control-board failures, belt adjustment, heavy moving weight, incline-related belt behaviour and difficult service communication. These reports are anecdotal and cannot establish a product-wide fault rate.
Warranty and returns
BowFlex lists lifetime frame and motor coverage, three years for mechanical parts and one year of labour. The short labour period is worth noting: a lifetime motor warranty does not guarantee free technician work or quick parts availability after the first year.
BowFlex’s US return policy gives buyers 30 days from delivery. Ordinary returns can exclude original and return freight, may include up to a 20% handling or restocking charge, and require the treadmill to be disassembled and placed outside for curbside collection. Test the speed controls, incline, belt tracking and console early in the return period.
Verdict
The T6 is a reasonable full-size treadmill for home walking, jogging and moderate running when the current price is competitive. Its 60-inch deck and motorised incline make it more versatile than a walking pad. The lack of a touchscreen keeps the console simple, while the narrower deck and reported uphill belt behaviour make it less compelling for heavier or high-mileage runners.
