The BowFlex T16 is the screen-equipped model in the current BowFlex treadmill range. BowFlex’s US product record showed it available at $2,299 on 23 September 2026. The older product URL now functions as an information and review page, while the current storefront route remains active.
The T16 has a 16-inch HD touchscreen, a 22 by 60 inch running path, 0.5–12 mph speed, 0–15% motorised incline, a 375 lb stated maximum user weight, QuickDial controls, folding storage and the MaxReact drive system. It connects with Apple Watch and Galaxy Watch and supports web and entertainment features. BowFlex says the treadmill itself can operate without a subscription, while JRNY and third-party services have separate terms.
The screen changes the ownership equation
The display is useful if you want classes, entertainment and workout controls in one place. It also adds Wi-Fi, software, touchscreen and app dependencies that do not exist on a basic LCD treadmill. Buyers should treat the screen as an extra system to test, not simply as a feature that increases value.
The T16 has no decline. That is an important omission for a premium treadmill, particularly for buyers comparing it with machines that offer downhill training.
Independent evidence
Run to the Finish gave the T16 a 92% rating after hands-on use. The review praised the sturdy deck, wide running surface, smooth speed changes, QuickDial controls, touchscreen, entertainment flexibility and interval use. Reported drawbacks included sensitive QuickDial controls, no decline, ordinary speakers and possible JRNY billing or support frustrations.
Treadmill Talk also praised the screen, deck, incline, folding frame and lifetime frame and motor warranty while noting the lack of decline.
BowFlex-hosted customer evidence is more mixed than the editorial reviews. A retrieved snapshot showed 12 reviews, a 3.4/5 rating and 64% recommendation. Positive comments mentioned room, controls, quietness and the sturdy design. Negative comments included a console failure after professional assembly and slow follow-up. Trustpilot also contained a report of a nonfunctional touchscreen on a new T16. These are individual reports, not a measured defect rate.
Warranty and returns
BowFlex lists lifetime frame and motor coverage, three years for mechanical parts and one year of labour. The touchscreen and electronics are not covered by the lifetime motor wording. The 30-day return policy can exclude freight and assembly costs, may include handling or restocking charges and requires curbside return preparation.
Verdict
The T16 makes sense for buyers who specifically want an integrated screen and wider deck. It is harder to justify if you already have a tablet or prefer fewer electronics. Test the touchscreen, incline, speed controls, speakers, Wi-Fi and app functions as soon as it arrives.
