Toputure TP4 review: compact 2-in-1 treadmill explained

The Toputure TP4 is a compact 2-in-1 treadmill that can be used with the handrail raised or lowered. The official page lists a 40 by 16 inch belt, a 0–9% manual incline, dual LED displays, FitShow connectivity, a magnetic remote and folding storage. It showed a $289 sale price against $499 during research.

The official page does not clearly state a maximum speed, motor power, user capacity, product weight or full assembled dimensions in the retrieved specification text. Those numbers appear in some third-party listings, but they may belong to similar Toputure variants. This review does not import them as confirmed TP4 facts.

How to interpret the 2-in-1 format

With the handrail raised, the TP4 is intended to function as a small treadmill. With the handrail lowered, it can fit an under-desk walking setup. The 40 by 16 inch belt is compact in either mode. It is more suitable for walking, faster walking and limited jogging than for sustained running, particularly for taller users or people with a long stride.

The incline uses a lift-and-lock mechanism and is manual. The 9% figure does not mean that the treadmill can change incline while you are moving. You need to stop and adjust it. That distinction appeared repeatedly in outside reviews because some product language can make the incline sound more automated than it is.

The TP4 includes a magnetic remote with mute and memory functions, dual displays and Bluetooth or app connectivity according to the product page. The page also lists free shipping and a two-year warranty, subject to the current policy.

What outside sources found

OCDevel reported a 4.7/5 Amazon rating from roughly 575 ratings at the time of its research, along with a 9% manual incline, a reported 7.6 mph maximum and app compatibility. Those figures are secondary research and may refer to a marketplace variant, so they should not replace missing specifications on the official TP4 page.

WorkoutMachines aggregated buyer feedback that praised near-tool-free setup, compact storage, quiet operation, cushioning, simple controls and value. Reported negatives included an unintuitive folding lock, difficulty with the incline adjuster, app quirks and disappointment that the incline is manual.

A YouTube reviewer disclosed that the vendor supplied the unit. The reviewer described the treadmill as compact, easy to carry and reasonably quiet, but said the noise was noticeable during a meeting. That is a useful personal impression, not an independent decibel test.

Toputure-hosted reviews were strongly positive about setup, storage, displays and convenience. They are seller-hosted and may include reviews collected from another provider, so they should be labelled as customer sentiment.

A Reddit thread asking about the Toputure 4-in-1 did not provide a verified owner test in the indexed discussion. That is an evidence gap.

Delivery, returns and warranty

Toputure advertises free US shipping and 2–4 business-day delivery, with curbside service. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, PO boxes and APO/FPO addresses are excluded.

The return period is advertised as 90 days. The item generally needs to be unused with its original packaging and accessories. Customer-related returns can have outbound and return shipping deducted. Toputure also states a 60-day price-match guarantee for the same model and specifications.

The official FAQ states a two-year limited warranty from receipt for covered defects under normal residential use. Wear, misuse, unauthorised repairs, modifications and commercial use are excluded.

Verdict

The TP4 is worth considering when you need one compact machine for under-desk walking and occasional raised-handrail use. Its manual incline, short belt and missing confirmed performance specifications mean it should not be sold as a full-size running treadmill.

The most important checks are the exact speed and capacity on the current US page, the belt fit for your stride and the return cost if the compact format does not work in your room. The TP4 is a plausible walking-to-jogging bridge, but the evidence does not justify a stronger running claim.
